Jersey Shore Man’s Family Retains Attorney Daryl Zaslow After Fatal Tractor-Trailer Accident
The family of the Jersey Shore man who was fatally injured after a tractor-trailer crashed into his car has retained the services of Attorney Daryl L. Zaslow from Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP.
On Wednesday, September 6, 2017, the 45-year-old victim, Jason Appio, was driving his Hyundai Sonata on Route 440 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey when a tractor-trailer rear-ended his car around 3:36 pm. The tractor-trailer then jackknifed, and struck two other cars, which caused the other drivers minor injuries. According to a news release about the accident from the Prosecutor’s Office, the driver of the truck was charged with death by auto and causing death by auto while operating a motor vehicle with a suspended New Jersey’s driver’s license. It has further been reported that at the time of the fatal accident, the 38 year old driver of the tractor-trailer was driving for a Canadian trucking company, High Light Motor Group, whose East Coast USA location is in Parsippany, NJ.
Jason Appio was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County and he leaves behind a wife of 22 years and 3 young children. He succumbed to his fatal injuries after receiving treatment at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
