Chain Reaction Collision at Union Parkway Toll Plaza Causes Fatality
A chain reaction collision took place near the Union, New Jersey toll plaza on the Garden State Parkway and caused a fatality. On Tuesday afternoon, around 2:30 pm, the fatal car accident occurred, which involved four vehicles and ended with one car crashing into the toll plaza and igniting. The driver of the car succumbed to her fatal injuries upon impact, and another individual sustained possible head and neck injuries during the Parkway chain reaction collision.
Oftentimes, accidents involving several vehicles may result in catastrophic injuries, a range of personal injuries, and potential fatalities for all parties involved. One collision may start a chain reaction of other crashes due to reckless driving, speeding, and distracted driving around the accident site. Unfortunately, some drivers and passengers may unwittingly become involved in an accident, and face debilitating injuries and an extended recovery time if they survive the crash.
